HOW TO EFFECTIVELY OVERCOME TEMPTATIONS

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐬: Genesis 39:8, Job2:9, Mattew 4:4

Good morning and Win today People, today your life will change, 
you mind will change, I mean your way of thinking and acting will change. Today you are going to learn how to defeat satan's temptation and put him perpetually under your feet.

If you read the passage above, you will realize that there is a common trend amongst them, which is the word of God in the heart of the believer. Child of God, I want this to be clear to you, there is not enough mental ascent or physical exercise to be able to defeat Satan. You cannot use mind gymnastics, motivational speech, good morale, or even reprimanding, to stand against Satan's vice and temptations. If you try to defeat Satan in the natural you are no match for him.
Satan can only be defeated when we showcase lively Faith, I mean active Faith in the word of God. 

The word of God is Spirit and life, it has the ability to quicken us Spiritually. The Bible, is a Spiritual book that is why when we possess it in our hearts, it acts like a watch-dog against the vice and lure of the enemy. 
Remember, no one can say no to Sin and sinful desires except by the Power of the Holy Spirit. If you therefore want to defeat Satan perpetually, you must be grounded, and be firmly established in God's word and act lively faith on it !

If you try to use the name Jesus , as a spell or a charm, or as a magic formula in any situation, Satan will always defeat you, you are no match for him. No one can say Jesus is Lord, if not through the Holy Spirit. To overcome Satan, the word of God must live in you, breathe in you , it must become your source and database for all reasoning and thinking, only then you will be able to resist the devil and Satan will eventually flee away from you.

When you allow the word of God to enter you, and live in you, and believe in it implicitly, the word of God becomes part of you and you will be called to act with God. Your battles becomes God's battles.

𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒓: Ask God, Oh Lord by your mercy forgive me all my sins in the past. Open my heart oh Lord to your word, Open my heart to your faith, Open my heart to your Spirit Lord. Oh Lord, give me the Grace, that your word may become part of me, give me the Grace to part with sin and sinful desires. In Jesus' name Amen.
